Frequently asked questions
How do I uninstall fonts I've installed via Font?
Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → Profile, select the Font Configuration Profile, and tap Remove Profile. All fonts installed via the App are removed in a single action. Removing the App itself also removes the profile.
Can I really use these fonts in PowerPoint, Word, or Keynote?
Yes. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers on iPad expose the iPadOS system font picker — every font installed via Font appears there. Note that fonts do not travel with the document; opening on Windows or macOS without those fonts will substitute via OS fallback. This is standard cross-platform behaviour, not specific to Font.
Why is the App iPad-only?
Font is designed exclusively for the iPadOS workflow — large preview surface, file-based import, and a font picker that benefits from the wider canvas. As of v4.5.2 the App is iPad-exclusive (Universal builds were retired).
Does the App contain ads or in-app purchases?
Yes — a single banner ad powered by Google AdMob with Meta Audience Network mediation. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. The banner is fixed at the top of the library screen and does not interrupt installation, preview, or any core flow.
What font formats are supported?
OpenType (.otf), TrueType (.ttf), and TrueType Collection (.ttc). Variable fonts work when the file is a valid .ttf with variable axes; the iPadOS font picker exposes the default instance.
I installed a font but it doesn't appear in my app — why?
Some apps cache the system font list at launch. Force-quit the app (swipe up in the App Switcher) and re-open it; the font should appear. If it still doesn't, that app may not support custom system fonts (rare). Please contact support with the app name and we'll investigate.
