These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Font for iPad ("the App"), provided by KYWorks ("we"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on iPadOS devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.
2. Font licensing
The fonts bundled with the App are licensed individually under their respective licences (most are open-source: SIL Open Font Licence, Apache 2.0, or similar). Where required, attribution and licence text are accessible from within the App.
You are responsible for ensuring that the use of any installed font in your own work complies with that font's licence — especially for commercial use, redistribution, or modification.
For fonts you import yourself (your own .ttf / .otf / .ttc files), you are responsible for confirming you have the right to install and use them on your iPad.
3. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted operation. Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
4. Restrictions
You shall not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where expressly permitted by applicable law;
- Attempt to circumvent or interfere with the App's security mechanisms;
- Reproduce, redistribute, or modify the App's content without permission;
- Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights related to the App;
- Use the App in violation of applicable laws or public order and morality.
5. Modifications and discontinuation
We may modify, add, remove, or discontinue features of the App at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from such changes.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as needed. Revised Terms take effect from the date posted on this page. Material changes will also be communicated via the App or App Store description.
7. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
8. Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
