Is Coupon Navigator free?
Yes, the app itself is completely free, with no in-app purchases. It's an ad-supported model with banner ads via Google AdMob.
Where do the coupons come from?
We aggregate official coupons automatically syndicated from each brand's official app. Actual redemption happens by tapping through to the official app.
Which brands are supported?
McDonald's / Mos Burger / Burger King / KFC / Hamazushi / Marugame Seimen / Yayoiken / Gusto / Cocos / Tomato&Onion / Bamiyan / Pizza-La / Lawson / FamilyMart / 7-Eleven / Anrakutei / d Point — plus 14+ additional brands, 30+ total.
Are push notifications required?
No, they're optional. With notifications off you can still use the app, but won't be alerted to new coupons. Turn them on and you'll get a push whenever a new coupon is added.
Is there an Android version?
Yes — available on Google Play.
Does the app collect personal information?
Only what's needed to display coupons. See the privacy policy for details.
Do I need a Japanese phone number, SIM, or account to use the app?
No. Internet access is the only requirement. No Japanese phone number, SIM, or registration is needed to use Coupon Navigator. Note that some redeemed brand apps may have their own requirements at checkout.
Is the app interface in English?
The app interface is primarily Japanese. Brand visuals, store info, and map locations are intuitive even without reading Japanese. We are evaluating multilingual UI for a future update.
